Pink Pleated Day Dress

This very sweet pink dress is here by request of a Club member. It is one of Diana's earlier styles in the first few years of her marriage. I feel the dress is too “young” for FM Diana, but would be perfect for the Danbury Mint wardrobe doll. The hat puts me in mind of many of those worn by the Queen Mother over the years with a turned up front brim. It may end up being retired from these pages as it’s so sweet it’d rot your teeth and it doesn't seem popular enough to copy.

(If I seem critical, it's because I wore a similar dress to a wedding in 1987.)
