Nativity:Western Tropical Africa, Arabian Peninsula, Pakistan to China (POWO, 2019)

Common Characteristics: Large shrubs. Leaves opposite, pinnately compound with 7- 9 leaflets. Flowers in terminal cymes, white, pedicels  long and slender.

Flowering period: March to October

Vernacular name:  Primrose Jasmine, Yellow Jasmine, Chinese jasmine, Japanese jasmine (Engish); Japani chameli (Hindi)

Nativity: China to Vietnam (POWO, 2019)

Common Characteristics: Glabrous shrubs. Leaves opposite, trifoliate, leaflets oblong- lanceolate. Flower bright yellow, single or double.

Flowering period: February to March
