Today I decided to go back to the ink and quill and work a little more with those materials. I stared by just kinda making some marks on the page to help get familiar with the ink. Once I was done with that I moved onto actually drawing the horse, for this one I started by working with the shape of the jaws first I wanted to start with this because the angle I wanted to work with today was a bit weird. Once I had somewhat worked out the jaw size I moved onto the nose then up the eyes. I started all these features just by doing a light almost dotted line outline of each. Then after I went in with more ink and added more features. This image I would love to try again because I think that the angle was a little weird but with another go it would be better.
