Acorn

For this project we had were experimenting with using photoshop. My adobe photoshop was not working so I moved to using the other platform, Acorn. This platform is basically the same thing as adobe photoshop but with some of the technical things different. That made it a little difficult to navigate what to do because no one really had a ton of experience with using acorn. We worked on adding color to a photo and making it more of a cartoon look.

I began thins project by taking a picture of my self, then moving that picture into acorn has a second layer, then I loved to the first layer that was transparent and began to trace over the lines on the face and what I wanted for the back round lines. After that was done I moved on to adding that color. I did this by creating a color that I wanted by using the color wheel and then using the eye drop tool to drop the color into the area.

I ran into a few problems with this once I deleted the image of my face behind and was done added all the colors the white lines that I used to outline I zoomed out on the image and they looked all pixely. I ended up doing this project again and the same thing happened. So that was a problem Im not sure if it was because of resolution of the photo or what. Overall I liked this project I thought it was fun and creative and a great introduction to acorn.
