Today I decided to break down the parts of the face of the horse, I wanted to do this because i'm thinking about enlarging and image and doing a large graphite image. I wanted to break down each aspect and work with that. I started by looking at the overall nose of the horse, I really like using erasers to help get the highlights and I hope to work more on this. Once I worked on the nose I moved onto a more detailed image of just the nostril, I wanted to focus on the shading and detail of the nose while still staying light. Then I moved onto the eye, I just wanted to get the basics of the eye down so it was nothing to fancy. Tomorrow my plan is to look more closely at the parts of the face (ears, jaw, etc) and then begin the larger image.
