Day 6

Today I wanted to draw a bigger picture of a horse. So I started by working from the nose, I started with this because this is what I worked on last week. I used graphite and charcoal to create the shading and the detail. Then I moved up to the rest of the head, I struggled with this because I felt like things weren't flowing right. I ended up only doing on side of the horse head because I hated the other side so much. It just looked weird, so I only worked on one side of the horse.

I think that next time I do this image I will look for some white charcoal so that I can get a brighter white popping through. I struggled with the ears so I decided to break them down a little bit and work on them. Tomorrow I plan to draw another full face picture and then breakdown the part of that image that is difficult.
