Preoperation for prevent thyroid crisis (Precaution in case of hyperthyroidsm)

Preoperative management like as Thyroid storm treatment

PTU

Sig. 12 t + H2O 100 cc rectal suppos stat (or oral, NG if not NPO)

then 4 t rectal q 4hr (or oral)

Then day 2-3 PTU 4*3pc

Propanolol(10 mg)

Sig 1t q 6 hr

Dexamethazone

Sig 2 mg IV q 6 hr
