As part of the BBC's WW1 at Home Project, Friends of Cleethorpes Heritage's Ann Reavey and the 6th Cleethorpes Scout Group took part in a BBC Radio Humberside feature, produced by David Reeves, which was originally broadcast on 28th February 2014.

The broadcast includes a visit to the Cleethorpes Baptist Church, where 31 soldiers from the Manchester Regiment where killed during a Zeppelin raid on 1st April 1916. Then Ann and the children head round to corner to visit a remarkable first world war air raid shelter, which still stands in Yarra Road.
