Our Next Event - Saturday 17th September

Join us at the Memorial Hall, Cleethorpes, on Saturday 17th September for "Trawlermen - Their Triumphs and Tragedies", which will be focusing on the heroic Grimsby trawlermen who swept mines during the First World War. 

There will be three talks, sea shanties, model trawlers, memorabilia and a net full of research, as well as our usual tea/coffee and cakes. Doors open at 12pm and seating is limited, so please get there early if you don't want to take your refreshment standing up!

We will also be making an exciting announcement about our plans for a permanent home for FOCH in Cleethorpes, which would enable us to make our local heritage and research available to the public all year round rather than just for one-off events.
