A Winters Tale

Several years ago, a collection of photographs was discovered in a concealed alcove in an old house in Holton-le-Clay. After some initial research, it was discovered that they once belonged to Dora Florence Winters, who was born in Grimsby in 1906 and died in 1984.

Further research has uncovered more information about Dora and the family and friends who appear in her photographs. This is the story of some of those people.
