Our Next Event - Saturday 18th April

On Saturday 18th April, Friends of Cleethorpes Heritage will be holding our first event of 2015 when we welcome author Katherine Connelly to North East Lincolnshire.
Katherine will be giving a talk on "Suffragette, Socialist and Scourge of the Empire, Sylvia Pankhurst" at the Memorial Hall in Cleethorpes. Doors will open at 12pm, with Katherine's talk beginning at 1pm. Our researchers have been busy, so there will be plenty of information about the women's suffrage movement, both locally and nationally, on display. There will also be entertainment from singer Cherie Lawrence and as usual our waitresses in period costume will serve you with tea, coffee and homemade cakes.
Friends of Cleethorpes Heritage are currently conducting a survey to help us to decide how we move forward in the future. If you haven't already completed the survey, please click on the link below. It is a very short survey that will take no more than a couple of minutes to complete, but your views will help us to make sure that we give people what they want when it comes to local heritage.
