Grimsby's Time Trap Museum - A Hidden Gem

As someone with a passion for local history, I'm ashamed to say that until last week I had never visited the Time Trap Museum at Grimsby Town Hall. Well, having now rectified that oversight on my part, I can proclaim it to be a cracker of a museum that really brings our local history to life and I would definitely go to jail again to see it!

There's loads to see and something to interest people of all ages. My only criticism would be that it should publicise itself better because until you actually get into the Town Hall, there are no signs to indicate it's there and it's open, so people visiting for the day who haven't done their homework wouldn't know there was a museum there.

If you haven't yet enjoyed the pleasures of the Time Trap museum, it's open Monday to Friday, 10am-4pm, except bank holidays, and if there aren't any meetings on, you can look round the Town Hall as well. It's £3 for adults and £2 for children/senior citizens - bargain!
