THE LOST PRINCES PROJECT

We had the pleasure of attending the excellent evening with Philippa Langley at Bradley F.D.C. on Friday 11th August. As well as talking about the fascinating Looking for Richard project, Philippa introduced the current Missing Princes project which aims to find the truth about the disappearance of the two sons of Edward IV, by applying cold case history investigation methodology.

Much of the "evidence" that implicates Richard III in the alleged murder of the young princes was actually written decades after it was supposed to have happened as the Tudors sought to blacken his name. As they say, history is written by the victors, but with so much of that history already debunked by the Looking for Richard project, perhaps this latest project will completely rewrite the history books.

Click here  to visit the Revealing Richard III website, which gives more information about the project. There's also mention of evidence uncovered in our own Grimsby archives by local lass Sharon Lock, who is the Communications Manager for the Richard III Society.
