Cleethorpes Medal Designer at 10 Downing Street

Some months ago, we reported that Cleethorpes man George Wright had designed the magnificent set of medals, which were released by the London Mint last year to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Britain.

More recently George (pictured far right) got to stand where many a Prime Minister has stood when a delegation from the London Mint presented the "Many and the Few" medal at 10 Downing Street. It was received on behalf of the Prime Minister by Colonel Nicholas Perry.
