Son of Reuben (b. 1873, d. 1942) and Lily Bradley (nee Moorfoot, b. 1874, d. 1930) of Sheffield. Fifth of eight children, brothers and sisters were Charles R (b. 1899), Leonora (b.1901), Florence (b, 1902), Arnold (b. 1904), Reuben (b. 1911), William (b. 1913) and George (b. 1914).

1911 – father Reuben was a street pavior (layer of paving slabs) with Sheffield Corporation. In 1901, he was listed as a stone mason. During WW1, Reuben served in France for a number of years with the Army Service Corps.

Husband of Annie Elizabeth Bradley (nee Earnshaw). They married 04/06/1932 at St Silas, Broomhall Street, Sheffield.

Father of Constance B Bradley (born 1932, Sheffield) and most likely Norman R Bradley (born 1943, Cleethorpes)

In 1932 when Constance was born, the family were living at 24 Lawson Street, Sheffield
