Integrity is the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles, or moral uprightness. It is a personal choice to hold one's self to consistent standards. In ethics, integrity is regarded as the honesty and truthfulness or accuracy of one's actions.
Teachers, please be on the lookout for students demonstrating Integrity . Sign the bottom of the planner with an early to lunch note!
1. Lunch expectations and behaviors:
As a reminder, the 3.5 Area is between the library and science, and the benches along Rooms 4-6 and 7-9. Only students with 3.5 passes will be allowed in these areas. Other students may congregate for eating and appropriate socializing in the lunch court and the tables outside of Rooms 10-12. The courts and field will be open for play 10 min after lunch starts, and no food or drink will be allowed on the courts. The areas outside of the bathrooms are closed off to student waiting....you may go to the bathroom 2 at a time but do not congregate in front of the bathroom area
There is NO Running (except on the field), No chasing, No grabbing of items that do not belong to you, and No putting hands on other people
All staff members must be listened too and respected. No exceptions!!
2. Halloween Costume Guidelines: While you are encouraged to show up on Wed in a costume to celebrate Halloween, make sure you are dressing appropriately
No head coverings, NO masks or FULL face paint. Staff members must be able to identify students.
Costumes that are provocative, revealing, sexual in nature, or employ questionable props are not permitted.
Costumes that depict violence, alcohol, or drugs are not permitted. Fake weapons are not allowed.
Costumes that could be offensive or perpetuate a stereotype of someone’s culture, gender, heritage, or religion are not permitted.
Costumes should not hinder the ability to participate in your classes, including P.E. Costumes may not disrupt or impede traffic, or present issues of safety
3. PBIS Challenge: I would like to challenge students to earn as many Skyhawk Pride cards this week as possible. Admin is setting a goal for staff to issue at least 50 skyhawk pride cards this week. However, students need to understand that staff do not just give these out for free...Students must earn a skyhawk pride card for showing respect, responsibility, integrity or any of our character traits. Overall, be awesome, and you may get "caught being good"!

With public displays of hate on the rise, it is more important than ever for schools to commit to programs that clearly define expectations in behavior for all members of the community. Whether you are a student, educator, or family member, you have a role to play in combating bias and bullying as a means to stop the escalation of hate.
No Place for Hate is a self-directed program helping all of the stakeholders take the lead on improving and maintaining school climate so all students can thrive.
We are starting our No Place For Hate initiative school wide! To kick us off, please fill out this quick survey to give us your views of the school climate.
