Theater Club meeting Friday May 6th from 3:10 to 4:10. Plan and rehearse the scene for the performance at the La Jolla Playhouse (Saturday, June 4th)
Next week we begin our state testing. Testing in ELA will be May 9-13. Testing in Math will be the following week May 16-19. 8th grade CAST (California Science Test) will take place on Friday May 20. While we understand standardized testing is just a snapshot in time, it is very important for each student to try their best. Standarized testing shows the students' strengths and areas of improvement and helps hold schools accountable.

SOAR raffle will take place Thursday 5/5 at the end of per 1!!
Testing Tip: Get a good night sleep the night before a test and make sure you eat a good breakfast. Food is the fuel for your brain!! Bring a water bottle and hydrate often
iParty today!!
For Students going to the iParty:
Students will report to Advisory to receive their wristband. Only students who qualify based on criteria will receive a wristband
After teachers take attendance qualified students will be released to iMiddle Arena area (by the back steps behind Library)
Each student will be allowed a treat
For a timed ticket to the GameTruck you will see Ms. Mayela. She will have a sign so you know who she is. You will then listen for your time to attend the GameTruck, which is on the back field
Wed 5/4 we also have the following stations
Donuts on a String (who can eat the donut the fastest without using their hands
I Love iMiddle Bingo!! Up to 30 can play at a time and a chance to win even bigger prizes
iMiddle is Hot Lava-a teamwork game on the courts
Music, fields open, and fun with your friends
Cell phones are allowed for iParty patrons only!

HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to London Diaz and Elisha Posey who won $500 seed money towards the business plan they developed in the Young Entrepreneurs club!!!! Also, a big shoutout to Rey Medina and Isabella Dircio who worked hard and developed incredible business plans as well.

Staff vs. Student Kickball at Advisories today!
Friday 5/6 Each Advisory teacher (not team, but each Advisory) will pick 2 students to represent your Advisory class on Team Student. This joint student team will take on Team Staff for an iMiddle Kickball game. All students in Advisory at that time are welcome to watch
