Textbook and Computer Return:

Announcement from Mr. Memory

Please ask the kids to remove all stickers, drawings, etc. from their computers before returning them. When they come to the library they need to have their computers already on so I can make sure they are in good working order (or hand them a blue sheet with a fine amount).

Also, make sure they erase any markings they have on their text books (and other books, for that matter) before bringing them to the library.

Their computer bags need to contain only the computer and charger…no stray homework, writing utensils, love notes, etc. They need to clean them out…we are not looking forward to seeing disgusting computer bags.

If anything they are turning in is damaged we need to know about it. Please See Mr. Memory or Ms. Lisa BEFORE the your grade's turn in day, so they can look at your computer/try to fix it/ before having to give you a fine. Lisa and I are planning on doing what we can to get needed repairs done to computers and books but we need to know what needs to be repaired.

On Tuesday we talked about three positives from this school year, and also some ideas of where we could improve for next year. We gave advice to one another about how to start off on a positive note for next year. Now lets think about our incoming 6th graders for next year. What advice would you give them? Take out a piece of paper and write a letter to the incoming 6th grade class to welcome them and give them some of your knowledge on what to expect and how to have a positive and successful middle school experience.

Once they are collected, they can be dropped off to Ms O'Donnell in the counseling center. We will be giving these letters to the 6th graders on their orientation day!
