After taking role, teachers will check every student's PAC to ensure it is a clean PAC before excusing. A clean PAC means Zero infractions for P1. This means no behavior infractions, cell phone, dress code, non-school related device, and no device/no charge. Bathroom is ok!
Students who meet the criteria are excused to line up outside the windows of Room 9. Please form 3 lines and have your PAC out and open to be double checked. You will then be given a treat and excused to enjoy extra time at lunch with your friends!
Students not excused to attend the PAC party must remain in their advisory class with their advisory teacher. Since today is the first day of P2 it would be a great opportunity for students to clean out and organize their backpacks. Students are also asked to work on goal setting for P2.

3. Tech Tuesday: As we gear up to begin our genius hour, and dive deeper into the STEAM curriculum at iMiddle, let's take a look at this TedEd Talk about Creative Constraints Watch here
As a class complete the "Think" 8 question quiz
From the TedEd "What was unthinkable yesterday may be possible tomorrow. As we advance science and engineering via new and innovative thinking, we change the boundaries of what can and can’t be done. It just takes creative thinkers, capable of understanding how to manipulate the boundaries of science and technology."
In groups, discuss if there is something you could create to make iMiddle a better place.....think outside the box. It may be a better planner, an innovative way to track tardies and help students be on time, or a system to remind you about homework/grades....
APPROACH TO CONFLICT TENDENCIES
Click on the LINK and have students take the Modified Thomas Killman Questionnaire (they can write their answers on a sheet of paper)
Then follow the prompts to see what each of the students' tendencies are. See if there are any majority similarities within the class! Follow through watching the video to identify which approach the characters are using.
