Agenda for Today:

  • Watch the iMiddle News

  • Review of school rules and student behavior
    • Beginning today, speakers attached to backpacks, a person, or in any way visible will not be allowed. Even if the speaker is not playing music, if it is visible it will be confiscated and a parent must pick it up. Keep speakers at home or in your backpacks.
    • Speakers are not to be used on campus at any time. This includes lunch time and passing periods. Speakers that are audible will be confiscated and a parent must pick it up.
    • Party Snaps/Party Poppers are never allowed on the iMiddle campus. These are actually considered explosive devices and can burn or injure someone if not used properly. According to the City of San Diego website, in 2008, 7,000 fireworks-related injuries (including party snaps or poppers) were treated in U.S. hospital emergency rooms. The highest injury rates were for teenagers ages 15 to 19 and children aged 5 to 9.
      • If you have any of the Party Snaps on campus now, please turn them in to an adult and no consequences will be issued. If you are caught in possession of or seen/heard using Party Snaps on campus you will receive admin consequences. Be Smart and Stay Safe.

Step 1- Get into groups of 4 to 6

Step 2- Each member holds onto a paperclip (hands cannot touch anything but the paperclips) connected to the rubber band.

Step 3- Work as a team to lift the cups up and place them in a pyramid (using all cups).

Step 4- When the pyramid is complete try to lift the gummy to the top of the pyramid (without piercing it with the paperclips) to claim victory.
