FOR THOSE STAYING IN ADVISORY:
Students can check PowerSchool and make up completed work
Please make sure students turn in their signed Progress Reports - if not, parents need to be called.
ASB Announcements:
Boo Grams are almost sold out! $1.00 at lunch by the library!
Dance Tickets are on sale NOW! $3 pre-sale and $5 at the door. All students who buy their ticket before Nov. 2 will be entered in a raffle for Otter Pops and Dippin Dots!
We are celebrating Red Ribbon Week this week!! Please watch this video from another middle school about Red Ribbon Week and what it represents.
Students can then begin decorating their "Key to Success" (see template below). Ask them to think about:
~ What it means to them to be drug free.
~ What inspires them to be drug free.
~ What are their goals?
~ What are their "keys" to success?
They will have today and tomorrow to decorate their keys and then will sign the pledge on the back. Once they have completed them, each advisory will display them on their windows (key facing outside).
Take your time to plan, draw and add color!
Stand up and take the pledge (below) together as a class. Sign your name on the pledge poster (or Active Inspire), and get together as a group in front of the signatures for a picture. If you signed and are in the photo, you will get a Dum-Dum - because you're not one.
Your ASB rep will help with the picture taking.
If you have time, finish your key to success :)
