Being responsible is the ability to be trusted and relied upon, to won up to your actions, and to make rational and moral decisions on your own. I like to get to know people who are different from me.

Teachers, please be on the lookout for students demonstrating Responsibility. Sign the bottom of the planner with an early to lunch note!

It is DEAR (Drop Everything And Read) time! If students do not have a book from which to read, they should be work on Lexia's PowerUp. All students should know how to log in through Clever. Advisory teachers should monitor through Happara to ensure students only have that tab open and are actively working on Lexia if they do not have a book.

We are going to start Genius hour on Thursdays during advisory. Please visit this link to our Genius Hour page (also in the navigation on the top) and watch the video to see how Genius Hour got started. Review the "What it is" and "What it is Not" sections as well as the student samples.
If you have additional time please visit our Genius Hour Inspiration page and watch some kids from around the country putting their genius into action!
