Students got into groups of 6 and each student became an “expert” on the kingdom they chose by researching the kingdom. They then taught their group about their kingdom so everyone learned about each kingdom of life. Each student then decided if they wanted to stick with their original kingdom or did they learned something about another kingdom that made them change their mind. They then created their POL on their kingdom using research gathered on their kingdom. Students had various options to choose from for how to create their POL.
"It was fun because we had a lot of creative liberty and free choice. We got to choose our topic, do do our own research, and prepare our choice of how to present.
"It was great to see the students so engaged and excited about their projects!" Irene Murray
