Evaluation and Synthesis of Information
Students in grade 1-5 at Sandston researched about famous Innovators using books from the library as well as online resources such as Pebble Go and Epic to learn about an inventor. Then students made posters with the most important information to share to others and practiced presenting the information on video with their written and oral skills to showcase their work at our Innovation Night to the community. Students then presented to their class and voted on their favorite presentations to represent out school at Life Ready. Students then turned into the inventors themselves and made designs, used Adobe AI to create pictures, and made models of their invention idea to help share their invention idea to others.
"This is so cool. I love getting to imagine my own invention."
Zoe
"The confidence and pride in students showing their projects to others was amazing to witness."
