The Chess and Strategy Game Expo was a collaboration between Family and Community Engagement and Gifted Programs.  Over 400 students and family members from around the district participated. Over 41 elementary, middle, and high schools were represented.

Rubik’s Cubes are available for teachers thanks to a HEF grant. They are used to support instruction, enrichment clubs, and help prepare for our annual county tournament. The cubes spark curiosity and problem-solving skills.

Services featured include school-based mental health supports; free teletherapy for secondary students through Hazel Health; free mental healthcare coordination services through Care Solace; student-led Active Minds clubs; Cameron’s Collection of mental health and wellness e-books; Henrico Area Mental Health services; and Substance Use and Youth Violence Prevention and Intervention supports and resources.
