December 11-14

A Week of Festive Fun!

We were busy this past week in EIP. From gingerbread house making, to our family pajamas sing along evening, to the arrival of our classroom elf, we packed in as much fun as we could!

Family Sing Along and Cookie Decorating

A huge thank you to our families that came out Wednesday night to our family sing along and cookie decorating night. Everyone looked so cute in their coziest pajamas and I think it's safe to say we all had a fun time!

Gingerbread House Making

Our four-year-olds had their turn to make gingerbread houses on Monday. Thank you so much to Danni Jones and Shaylah Van Rhyn for volunteering to help out with our busy house-making shenanigans!

Meet Snowflake!

Our students were both surprised and excited to see a Christmas elf had arrived in our classroom on Monday! Snowflake has been busy in our classroom, and she is watching for good behaviour to report back to Santa!

A Belated Welcome

I am a bit slow on getting this message out, but our morning families have likely noticed a new face over these past few months. We have been so lucky to welcome Mrs. Sheena Richardson to our team! Welcome Mrs. Richardson, you are already so appreciated.

Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!

A huge shoutout goes to Amy Larsen-Hartwig for another fresh batch of play dough this past week. This group of kids loves play dough, and the novelty does not seem to be wearing off, so getting new batches of play dough every few weeks is a great way to keep the germs down.

I also want to send a big thanks to Cory from Porter Developments for donating the cookies for our family sing along and cookie decorating night. Porter Developments also donated the big wire wheels you see our students playing with in our outdoor "backyard" play space.

Christmas Pajamas, Stuffies, and a Movie Day!

We will be having a fun day on Thursday, December 21st to celebrate Christmas. Please see the details below:

Coming Up!

We have four days left of school before Christmas break!
