March 20-23

Easter is in the Air

Even though Easter is not until April, we could not resist starting our Easter unit before beginning spring break. From eggs in the sensory bin to Easter art, it was a pretty awesome week.

Easter Art

We got messy in here on Monday! Our four year olds were hard at work printing, cutting, and then painting eggs with shave cream! This sensory experience was a fun way to paint eggs, and the end result is pretty amazing too!

Red Show and Tell

It was another successful day of show and tell on Thursday. I am impressed with everyone's growth in their ability to listen to others and wait their turn to speak.

Easter Egg Science!

We had so much fun exploring the scientific concepts of sinking and floating with Miss Sather this past week. The students were challenged to load Easter eggs with different items to see if they would float or sink. This engaging activity had the students making predictions, engaging in conversation, counting items, as well as strengthening their motor skills as they opened, closed, and stuffed their eggs.

Parachute Fun!

We had fun playing with a parachute in the gym this week! Playing with a parachute can be hard work when you are little, it requires careful listening so that no one gets hurt.

Student-Led Conferencing

Thank you to everyone who came out Thursday night for student-led conferences. The students seemed to have fun showing off their classroom as well as doing a little craft together with their family members.

Coming Up - Spring Break is Here!!
