Halloween Fun!

This week was all about Halloween! From pumpkins to spooky spiders, it was oodles of fun!

Pumpkin Crafts

Halloween Oat Bin!

Pumpkin Painting

We had fun smearing red and yellow paint under plastic wrap to make pumpkins this week. Our favourite part about this colour-mixing fine motor activity is that we can have a sensory experience while staying clean too!

Spooky Spider Webs!

We rolled marbles through black paint to create spider webs on Thursday. The students loved watching their marbles roll through the paint as they carefully rotated their trays from side to side. We also took advantage of this craft to practice our 'S' sound by taking turns saying the word "spider." We finished our webs off with a plastic spider. They are so spooky!

Christmas Cards!

I know it is hard to think about Christmas this early, but we have been working on some cute snowman Christmas cards that I know you will love. Each year our school does a fun little fundraiser where parents have the opportunity to purchase Christmas cards featuring their child's artwork! Next week your child's artwork will be sent away to the printer to create a Christmas card sample.

Please note: I am aware that some families have indicated they are not interested in fundraising this school year and that is okay. However, these cards are so cute I do not want you to miss out! I will still send home your child's sample card when it arrives incase you would like to order a set of cards. You are by no means obligated to place an order if you are not interested.

The sample Christmas cards are scheduled to arrive mid-November, be sure to keep an eye out for them! Feel free to let me know if you have any questions!
