Happy Campers!

We had the last week of our camping theme this past week.

We had fun making marshmallow poppers on Monday. This fun little craft strengthens the oh-so-important pincer grasp and is also exciting! To keep covid friendly, we popped pom-poms instead. You can try popping mini marshmallows at home if you want!

Campfires!

We got messy on Tuesday and Wednesday painting campfires. First, we looked at a video of a campfire and studied the colours of the flames and the direction of the fire. We then got straight to work painting with our hands and adding some logs after!

Camping Scavenger Hunt

We hunted around our classroom on Thursday for different camping pictures. This simple activity is a fun way to build the students' vocabularies while working on new camping words such as canteen, lantern, and cooler.
