It was a short week with Monday being a holiday, but we packed in as much Easter fun as we could!

On Tuesday we went hunting for coloured eggs. This was the perfect opportunity to strengthen our colour vocabularies, and also to work on our matching skills.

On Wednesday we engaged the students in a little egg science. The students explored with plastic Easter eggs and a variety of materials to see what would make the eggs sink and what would make them float.

On Thursday we got messy when we tried out stamp painting using plastic Easter egg halves. For some of our students, this was a very exciting sensory activity!

On Friday our three-year-olds enjoyed a games day. They learned to play Pop Up Pirate and Pig Goes Pop. I was impressed with how engaged the students were, most of them spent more than ten minutes engaged in this activity.

It was an exciting week in the gym, drum fit was set up for us to enjoy. We were moving, shaking, and hitting our drums to the beat of the music during these fun classes. Luckily for us, we get to enjoy drum fit next week too!
