December 13-16

Christmas Fun!

We had a fun week here in PK. We packed in as many Christmas activities as we could! Everyone enjoyed getting cozy and wearing their pajamas to school on Thursday!

Scavenger Hunt!

We had a Christmas scavenger hunt on Wednesday and Thursday. The kids had fun finding the different Christmas pictures around our rooms. This simple activity is an easy way to build vocabulary, practice speech sounds, and also work on the early numeracy concept of matching!

Rockin' Reindeer!

After reading Santa's Great Reindeer Chase, we worked carefully to create a little reindeer craft.

Making crafts are important as they strengthen your child's hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills. These are both important skills to develop as they are used for important tasks like printing letters and writing words!

Christmas Movie!

Thank you for sending in special party snacks for your child to enjoy on Thursday. There are few things cozier than wearing your PJs while enjoying yummy snacks and a fun Christmas movie!

A Very Special Ornament

I hope everyone enjoyed the special little ornament that came home this week! Our students loved finding out just "how big" they were when we measured them to cut the ribbons!

Letters From Santa...

Unfortunately our special mail from Santa arrived one day too late and we didn't get to enjoy reading it together at school. I will include pictures of our special mail below in case you want to read it together with your child at home!

Spider Elf?

Snowflake was so sneaky on Thursday! It was all giggles to see her dressed up as Spiderman.

Bye Snowflake! We will miss you and hope to see you again next year!

Christmas in the Gym too!

The computer and projector were hooked up in the gym this week which allowed us to try out some new Christmas freeze dance videos. I have included our favourite videos below incase you are looking for a way to burn up some energy with your little ones at home!
