At our assembly this week, we had the ability to "see" each other. All of the teachers received webcams this week and the students were able to see each class virtually. This was exciting and a really big deal since we stay in our cohorts and don't interact beyond those groupings. Mr. Schnell and I also started a new thing this year for our assemblies. We have been hosting a weekly contest for the classes to participate in. This allows for some interaction, excitement, and class collaboration. This week we had a design challenge. Each class was delivered a brown piece of paper along with a package of shapes. The rules were minimal, but each class had to create something using all of their items. They were encouraged to think outside the box. All of the entries were fantastic! You can see our winning entry below is from 1A. Congratulations!
