3A & 3D Class Presentation - Generosity

Thank you to 3A & 3D for the wonderful slideshow on Generosity and then the excellent dance fun afterwards! You all did a fabulous job and it was fabulous to see all the pictures of "generosity" and kindness happening around our school!

What a fun holiday spirit day that we had on Friday! Stay tuned for a special video coming soon featuring a song by our grade 1-4 RBES students. This picture below just warms our hearts and is a great example of all the energy and excitement that the students have right now. Click on this link for more pictures from our special dress up day.

Emergency Preparedness is something that we practice regularly with our staff and students. If you have not visited our website to see what our Emergency protocol is, you can check it out under the About tab and then Click on Emergency Preparedness. A copy of the Black Gold parent information document is below for your convenience. You can also click on this link to take you to our website. If you have any questions, please let us know!

HOUR ZERO

In Black Gold School Division, all schools utilize Hour Zero protocols as our Emergency Response Program. Every year we have several practice drills to help our students and staff prepare in the event of a real emergency. In the fall, we practiced Evacuation and this past week we practiced Lock Down. Thank you to the staff for their professionalism and students for their excellent behaviour during these practice drills. For more information about the key protocols, please click here.

SPREADING SOME CHRISTMAS JOY

1-2 D & 3D went to Discovery Place to read stories, bring Christmas cards and conversation and sing to our local seniors. What a joyous occasion for all. It was a treat to watch the interaction and the sharing happening with the two very different generations.
