Week 6: October 26, 2018

Wristband Challenge

Congratulations to this week's winner! As many of you already know, anytime you go to the LRC (Leduc Rec Center) or anywhere else that gives out wristbands as an admission when you do something active, you can bring in your wristband to enter our weekly draw. This is organized by BGRS and our Wellness Team.

In Devon we have such a beautiful river valley and multi-pathway system that you can also earn a spot in our draw by doing a minimum of 15 minutes of outside exercise. Then simply email one of the office staff and we will put your name on a wrist band and enter you in the draw.

What do you win? A complimentary pass to the LRC for the student and one parent (adult). Let's all stay active!

BOOK FAIR WINNERS . . .

1C were the lucky winners of the Family draw! They were pretty excited!

Golden ticket coloring contest winners and guessing game winners for the book fair were super excited to get their prizes. A big shout out goes to Ms. Caudron and all of her amazing volunteers who helped with both the book fair and to turn our library into the Enchanted Forest!

Pizza With The Principals!

Congratulations to our Pizza with the Principals winners:

On Monday, they will be having Pizza with Mrs. Kloschinsky and Mr. Coffin at lunch time!

Congratulations to our Cross Country Team!

We finally had a chance to celebrate our Cross Country team and their hard work. Despite a very short season they all worked hard to compete in the District Meet. I'd like to send a special Congratulations to our 2009 Girls who earned a third place team award. Well Done Ladies!! All of the races that our students competed in had more than 120 athletes. We didn't have anyone in the top 10 this year, but everyone finished the race and over half of our group placed in the top 50 in their age category. Our grade 2 students competed against other children who were a year older. I am proud of each and every one of them!!
