CONGRATULATIONS to 4A for winning the Rad Raptor Weekly Contest!! It was a close race, but always so much fun!
We had over 350 names entered into our Random Acts of Kindness Contest this week! We have special "Secret Kindness Agents" in every classroom and every time they spot someone being kind they mark it down in their secret files. At the end of the week, Mrs. Kloschinsky and Mr. Schnell receive the reports from every secret agent and tally up every act of kindness. Every time a student, or a staff member, was caught being kind, their name was entered into the draw. CONGRATULATIONS to this week's winners! A huge thank you to the Town of Devon who provided the Shift Happens gift cards, which was our prize for the Winter Walk Day Challenge.
Mr. Maltais from Division Office joined the grade 4 classes this week for a morning of MICRO:BIT CODING. The students spent time programming their Micro:bits to send "Flashing Hearts", "Name Tags", "Smileys", "Micro Chats", "Radio/Music" and "Rock, Paper, Scissors".

The long-awaited Raptor Spirit Wear is here! We have an online store with 5 options for our students. You can see the items below. The hoodie, short sleeve, and long sleeve t-shirt are available in blue, grey, and black. We will also have a baseball-style t-shirt and a baseball cap. There are both youth and adult sizes available and parents are welcome to order spirit wear as well. You can access the online store at this LINK or you can click on the image below. The store will be open until Sunday, February 21. Please be sure that you check the size charts for accuracy as there are no refunds. Be sure to click on catalog once you get onto the site to see all of the items available.
The RBES Fundraising Committee has been hard at work trying to get community grants and needs your help now with this covid friendly fundraiser. You can click on any of the pictures below to take you directly to an online donation site. Tax receipts will be issued for donations over $20. Our "Fun"raiser will run for the month of February.

Also, if there are any local businesses or families who would like to donate a minimum of $100 or to purchase one piece of equipment, your name / company logo will be a part of our appreciation wall that will be permanently displayed in our playground.
