Week 13: December 20, 2019

CONGRATULATIONS!

All of our grade 3 and 4 students created at least one liquor bag message to promote safety - No Drinking and Driving - over the Christmas holidays. The bags were collected by a JMHS student and dropped off at local liquor stores. We chose to honor some really creative messages from the following students.

Dress Up Days of any kind are always a lot of fun for both our students and staff. I think PJ day is my favourite. This year a few RBES staff took it up a notch with some matching PJs. More PJ & Stuffie day pics can be found here!

What an amazingly fun night our Gingerbread House Making Family event turned out to be. So much laughter and family fun! Thank you to our Black Gold MHCB (Mental Health Capacity Building) team for sponsoring this event. If you would like to see more pictures from our evening, please CLICK HERE!

Skating Starts in January!

The Kindergarten through grade 4 students will be going skating for two weeks this year. This first week is January 20-23 and the second one occurring February 24-27. Each grade will have a half-hour time slot on the ice in which they will be participating in learn to skate activities and games which are appropriate for their ability level.

The schedule for both weeks will be published in early January.

The permission form is available on PowerSchool provides permission for both weeks. If the weather requires us to change our week of skating, we will let parents know but this permission form will cover both weeks.

Complete details are available on our website

We would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Enjoy the time with your family, friends and loved ones.

We hope everyone enjoys time with their friends and family this Holiday Season!

Our next school council meeting is on January 16 at 5:30 pm.

As parents, your thoughts and experiences are valuable. Please contact a member of school council to share any information you may be excited or concerned about. Together we can make a difference!
