We would like to wish all the Moms of RBES a most wonderful and relaxing Mother's Day! We hope you find time to do something you love and that your family takes great care of you for the day!
Who knew that this would be one of our last days at school this week? We introduced some chalk, skipping ropes, and pool noodles for tag, to make recess more interesting and our students were loving it! Wednesday was such a bright and sunny day. We look forward to when our students come back and we can enjoy more of these wonderful moments!
Our students and staff enjoyed wearing a hat to school to recognize the benefits of good mental health. You can CLICK HERE to see more photos!

More active and more likely to take better care of one’s health.
Longer sleeps and more refreshed upon waking.

Higher levels of positive emotions.
More alert, alive and awake.
More joy and pleasure.
More optimism and happiness.
Social
More helpful, generous, and compassionate.
More forgiving.
More outgoing.
Less lonely and isolated.
Lots of awareness regarding Mental Health is being promoted for week. There are some tools for families to access as we acknowledge Mental Health Week. You can click on the icon below for an additional added resource.
Congratulations to our Rad Raptors!! Even though we did not have an assembly, we continued to try to celebrate a number of our students.
Just a reminder that the numbers per class can vary as students can be nominated by other staff. In general, there will be two selected students per class, but sometimes there can be more. These celebrations are meant to be spontaneous recognition and can really vary in why students are selected, however, they are all proud when they come to see the office staff with their certificate.

Sometimes life throws us a curve ball and during a pandemic that is a regular occurence. We recognize that parents, students, and staff have had to adapt and change with barely a moments notice. It is challenging, but as we work together, we will all do the best we can with the hand we are dealt. If you need support, please reach out to your child's classroom teacher and we will do what we can to help out.
THANK YOU to our staff who juggled their daily routines and responsibilities while working very long hours to turn on a dime and have different programming ready for our students in two days. This was nothing short of miraculous and I am so proud of them all! THANK YOU to our parents for your patience as we worked through all the messages and questions to try to get everything ready for you and your children. It was appreciated!
If you have missed the email with our At-Home Learning update, we have linked the information along with the schedule below for your convenience.
Below our handout is a handy link for the daily attendance that you can use if your child is unable to participate in the Google Meets. If they attend an online session, the teacher will take the attendance and you DO NOT have to fill out the Google attendance form.
