Our student teachers in grade 4, Ms. Wold and Mrs. Burgess, planned and lead a wonderful project for all of our grade 4 students based on the book "Dawn Flight". The student's final art projects are simply beautiful.

At Black Gold and RBES we utilize Hour Zero for our Emergency and Safety protocols. With the nice weather upon us we have had a few evacuation practices over the last couple of weeks. We were creative in our practices to ensure we were still following Covid protocols and keeping our students safe with physical distancing. You can read a summary about the Evacuation procedure below. As well, I have included the parent summary document below for all procedures as a refresher for you as well! We will be doing some additional drill practices in the coming weeks for: Shelter in Place, Hold and Secure, and a Lock Down. Please let us know if you have any questions! You can find additional information on the RBES website or Black Gold's website under the About tab and scroll down to the Emergency section.
