To be aligned with the school’s mission to offer English as the principal language of instruction, English will also be the principal language used when communicating with FIS parents. It is at the discretion of the Head of School whether to publish or communicate to the FIS community in any language other than English.
The school administration will establish regular communication channels and timelines for sharing information with the FIS community, including, but not limited to, student achievement, school news and events, school closure and new strategic initiatives. In support of environmental sustainability, electronic communication is preferred to print.
The school administration will also regularly seek input from the FIS community through annual surveys. Survey results will be shared with those questioned within a reasonable time after the completion of each survey.
