1. The school is required to adhere to the accident prevention regulations of the Verwaltungs-Berufsgenossenschaft (employees) and the Hessische Ausführungsbehörde für Unfallversicherung (students).
2. The school shall have a Safety and Security Coordinator (SSC) for the Verwaltungs-Berufsgenossenschaft. The SSC shall be responsible for the implementation of, enforcement of and adherence to all safety regulations vis-à-vis the administration and the Verwaltungs-Berufsgenossenschaft. The SSC shall be assisted by additional safety appointees from faculty, staff and contracted employees in accordance with the Verwaltungs-Berufsgenossenschaft regulations.
3. School personnel are responsible for the safety of students and employees under their supervision. They are expected to take every safety precaution within their power to prevent accidents and to immediately report to the SSC any dangerous condition not within their control.
