Standardized test results are used to inform instruction, report student progress, assist in class placement, support differentiation and to inform curriculum review. External standardized tests are administered to students in grades 3-10. Any standardized testing instrument shall be normed on a population as equivalent as possible to the FIS student population.
College Placement Examinations
The school may serve as an examination center for external assessments at the discretion of the Head of School. Examples include the International Baccalaureate, the American College Board’s Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) and the ACT.
