In accordance with German law, parents are responsible for their children on school grounds outside normal school hours, unless the student is involved in a school-organized activity. The school will provide supervision for 15 minutes before the start of school and for 15 minutes after the end of school (in accordance with German law). 

Generally, students not involved in a school-organized activity must depart campus no later than 17:30.
