The website serves the public information purposes of the school and shall contain only such information as will appropriately represent the school. All entries must comply with the guidelines generally applicable to all school publications. The website shall be representative of the educational programs, activities, events, and special achievements across all divisions, and shall include, with appropriate security provisions governing access, information about FIS community members. Any personal data shall be limited to directory information, behind a password-protected portal.
The Admissions and Advancement Office is responsible for the operation, management, and development of the school's website. Material and information entered for the website must adhere to the German Data Protection Law (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz), and must be submitted through the Website Manager, who is appointed by the Head of School and reports to the Director of Admissions and Advancement. Questions concerning content are determined by the Director of Admissions and Advancement, in consultation with the Head of School. The Head of School may authorize other persons to make website entries.
