The school appreciates and benefits from early notification of a faculty member’s resignation. Early notification allows the school administration increased time for recruiting the best possible teachers for the school. The existence of this policy in no way communicates any encouragement for a teacher to leave the employ of the school, but rather describes a mutually beneficial agreement if the teacher has already decided to resign at the end of the given school year.
Any tenured faculty member who notifies his or her principal and Head of School and provides a letter of resignation effective the end of the contract year on or before 01 November of a given school year, will be provided with a 1000 Euro incentive to be paid in the November pay period. Part-time employees receive a pro-rated amount equivalent to the percentage of employment. The payment is treated as a taxable benefit.
