F. Fire Regulations

When the fire alarm is heard the following regulations should be followed:

1. School personnel are responsible for the following:

• Lights turned off

• Windows closed

• Electrical appliances turned off

• Doors closed on leaving rooms

2. All students, teachers and school personnel should evacuate the building via the correct route – all rooms should have routes posted. All personnel should walk briskly outside without speaking. Each school has designated areas so that attendance can be taken quickly.

3. Homeroom teachers report attendance to administrators.

4. The Head of School or designee signals all clear for school personnel to return to the building or implements the Crises Management Plan.
