C. Bad Weather Dismissal Guidelines
1. Transportation Service Manager gets regular updates from bus companies. Director of Finance and Operations and Transportation Service Manager are responsible for collecting information from weather service and police.
2. Recommendations from Transportation Service Manager, Chief Hausmeister, and Director of Finance and Operations given to Crisis Team Chair, who has responsibility for deciding the level of response required.
3. Defined levels of difficulty have articulated and planned responses at the ready.
4. Initial responses made by 12:00.
5. Parents informed via SMS, email and website.
6. Extra staff assigned to phone lines.
7. In questionable cases, the decision should err on the side of caution.
