Reflection

A truth to keep, a jewel to hold—

the world reflects the heart we show.

If we choose kindness, if we choose light,

love will meet us in our sight.

It is not that they don’t see us,

but that we walk blind,

lost in the walls

we build in our minds.

It isn’t that love has faded,

a whisper lost in the air—

love is here, waiting always,

but only if we care.

It isn’t that empathy is missing,

a feeling too distant to find—

it is we who must awaken,

and open our hearts and minds.

For the world is but a mirror,

reflecting all we think and do.

So look within, seek your own heart—

only then will you see what’s true.
