Artist statement: 

when given the prompt of silly spaceship I knew I wanted to set a outer space theme. For the spaceship I wanted to use a natural form that fits in the surrounding environment. I wanted unrealistic colors, but for them all to be connected. 

I created the background with watercolor, black pen for the details and markers for the planet. I used contrasting colors for the planets so they stuck out from the background. I used line work to add  texture on the spaceship and planets.
