Materials: water color, black pen 

Artist statement: 

When faced with this prompt I was more than confused. I didn't really know how to make a map of my life, a literal one. so when I was figuring out what to make my path with dealing we substances came to mind. I wanted to literally represent and show what was happening in my mind. On one side of the painting it show the path a shoul choice the one of light and sucess and on the other it shows darkness.

Then making the piece I sketched everything out I pen first then added water color, for more detail. The colors were very spasifc and the thickness of the colors too. I wanted it to show that even though these are two very real choices but they don't feel real.
