artist statement: 

When making this piece I wanted to incorporate many different aspects. I wanted to use really naked to add different dimension in the artwork. on the actual portrait I use real makeup for jacks makeup. I started with a black outline filled in the color throughout the piece.

I also used real makeup to add a dirty makeup wipe effect on the back ground, I also wrinkled the edges just to emphasize on the dirty wipe idea. all the makeup products I chose to draw were from my makeup bag or jacks.
